The government, the Ministry of Defense and the Royal Thai Army have made every effort to ease the tensions along the border using bilateral mechanisms agreed with Cambodia, but have not received a positive response from the Cambodian side. It also appears that Cambodia has increased its military forces, weapons and equipment to be close to the Thai-Cambodian border and has modified military positions, which may pose a risk of undesirable incidents that may affect our brothers and sisters along the border.
